Brian Friedman is the Co-Founder of SuperMush, a rebel Gen Z brand that’s known as the “Red Bull of mushrooms” and a trailblazer in vernacular and adorkable branding. Brian was the CEO and Co-Founder of LOOPD, the leading innovator in offline analytics for B2B events and dedicated to promoting corporate brands.
While at LOOPD, Brian was recipient of the prestigious Good Design and iF Design global awards. He sold LOOPD to etouches (now STOVA), a major, cloud-based event management software company where he was the VP of Digital Innovation.
While at Aventri, Brian created a 200+ page Brand Operating System (BOS) and played a key role in a mulit-million dollar corporate rebrand.
Brian helped the team develop a new logo, mission statement, vision statement, digital branding and more over 8 months.
His team was so focused on brand development that it didn’t have a process in place for brand deployment at scale.
By missing this step, his sales team, marketing team, and operations team started to use wrong versions of their new brand unknowingly.
This decreased Aventri’s new brand value, and caused brand confusion.
Brian couldn’t find a platform that his team wanted to adopt – and that’s when the idea of Ethos was brought to life.
